Special Prize for Allio

SETAGAYA-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN - For the second consecutive year, a photographic artwork by Allio has been honored by Photography Unlimited of Japan. This year, he received a "Pictures of the Year - Special Prize" for an artistic figure nude of model Lindy Blu on the Nevada landscape entitled: "Terra-Cotta Archway".

"This image is a classic example of a successful collaboration between model and photographer," Allio said. "Lindy's skyclad figure was the right fit with surroundings to complete this exciting artwork. Nude tanned skin blended with terra-cotta Aztec Sandstone to form a sensuously sculptured landscape."

"Terra-Cotta Archway" is an element, an excerpt, from the "Solitudo | Terra-Cotta Desert" pictorial, a collection of ten stark and beautiful desert scenes, each a vision of the bare human form in the Mojave Desert.

Professional photographer Allio was born in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications and Visual Arts. His fine art nude figures have been exhibited in prestegious art galleries around the world.
