MADRID SPAIN - Allio, resident professional photographer of Kauai, Hawaii, USA, has been selected
as the International Member of the Week by Models Premium Saloon (MPS) International Fashion and
Arts Community. This special recognition, for the week of January 12-18, 2007, is the result of
Allio's outstanding photographic portfolio and instructional skills in a competitive fashion and
art forum.
"Three qualified members - photographers, consultants in marketing, and advertising agents -
select the member of the week considering the profile and photographies," explained Johanna
Krause of MPS. The final decision is then based on a comparison of work presented by all
photographers under consideration.
The Models Premium Saloon arises from the first fashionable international forum and arts at a
professional level that was on the Internet between 1999 and 2005. The goal of MPS is to promote
aspiring and established talent on an international level.
"MPS is attempting to educate and encourage young, talented model and photographers by providing
professional guidelines and information," Allio said. "I am honored that an international
fashion and arts group with such lofty goals would select me for this recognition."
On the international scene, Allio has worked with amateur and professional models and conducted model
and photography workshops since the 1970s. His commissioned artworks are treasured by collectors
worldwide.
MPS will publish the first in a possible series of insightful and instructional articles by Allio
on Friday, January 19. The featured topic is: the impact of location on professional modeling
careers.
