New Allio Exhibition Debuts Nude Color Classic Figure Study
WISE VA - The Allio virtual fine art gallery has been updated with a new ten-image exhibition. The series is entitled, Color Classic Figure Study and consists of ten nude figure study artworks of the same model. Some images began as black-and-white negatives and others came from color transparencies. Following a six-month showing on Allio's personal virtual gallery, the original artworks are scheduled for exhibition at galleries in the United States, Austria, and Germany.
"My inspiration was the classic posing lines of the nude figure model," Allio said. "She has a natural ability to enhance a simple pose. The clean lines motivated me to strengthen the images with solid colors."
The model, Annie, is an aspiring actress. While waiting for her big break, she has worked on the US West Coast as a waitress, fashion consultant, and tutor. Standing less than five feet tall, she has struggled against the modeling industry stereotypes.
Allio was born in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications and Visual Arts. His fine artworks of nude subjects have been exhibited worldwide.
