ATLANTA GA -- Visual artist Allio has released his latest exhibition, a solo nude figure interacting with random boulders on a stone landscape. The collection of ten black-and-white photographs are entitled fucco di bivacco.
"Viewing photographs in this exhibition, the symbolism of pressing bare flesh against unyielding stone under the mid-day sun may be unexpected," Allio said. "But for those who are willing to see and study, there are layers of meaning to be explored in the artworks of a brilliantly lit nude figure amid scattered rocks, on a tree-lined granite monadnock."
This exhibition marks the sixth year of collaboration between professional nude figure model Serenity Dalys and the internationally honored artist. Each agrees that these new visual artworks are are the next step in their ongoing endeavour to further a contemporary discourse of photography as a fine art and an advocacy of body freedom.
"These photographs are some of my favorites because of the scenery and how beautiful bare rock can be when you pose with it," according to nude art model Serenity Dalys. "Becoming one with nature - nude and exposed - is a simple and fulfilling experience."
fucco di bivacco may be viewed as an online exhibition at www.AllioArt.com. Contact the artist to arrange for public or private gallery exhibitions of this collection.
