Tribute was influenced by the infamous Marilyn Monroe photograph, hence the title. It is a respectful homage to the international sex symbol by this model and photographer on the 76th observance of Marilyn Monroe's June 1 birthday.

Tribute, as a visually altered version of this artwork, entitled Venduta is selected for feature exhibition.
2002 and 2003: Photography Unlimited - Japan
Tribute won Best Pictures of the Month honors in the Artistic Nudes category for June 2002 in this international photography contest. Beginning July 1, 2002, this photographic artwork was displayed in the Winners gallery. The display time of one year ended June 2003.
On June 1, 2003, it was announced that Tribute had also won a special award and Best Pictures of the Year in the annual competition.
