"This magic moment was captured as Maria reclined on a leather sofa basking in the Afterglow of a fulfilling day-long photo session on Memorial Day 2010," Allio explained. "The studio lights had already been packed away and most of the camera equipment was restored to my Think Tank case when this spontaneous scene demanded exposure. The resulting reclining nude figure artwork became one of the most compelling images of the entire photo session."

Afterglow was one of twelve Allio artworks selected for feature exhibition in the Fotocepelak Foto Galerie by curator Ladislav Cepelak. The group showing began in January 2011.

2010: Experience Project - USA
Based on Afterglow timeless model Maria Whitaker submitted her story "I Love Figure Art" to Experience Project and earned a trophy award for outstanding presentation on the topic of her experience posing as a nude figure art model.

2010 June: Exceptional Faces - USA
Based on Afterglow and the related publicity, Maria Whitaker was honored as the Feature Model of the Month for June 2010.

2010: MM Member Lists Selections - International
Afterglow was selected for special recognition and acknowledgement in over 50 Model Mayhem member lists including: "pretty but wish you were dressed."

2010: The 10,000 Page - International
Afterglow was selected as a part of the TenThousandPage, at the time, the world's largest collection of beautiful erotic photographs.
